I was born and live in saint Petersburg. It is my home town. Saint Petersburg is one of the most beautiful cities not only in Russia, but in the world. It is the second largest city after Moscow in our country. The population of my city is about 5 million people. The main street of the city is Nevsky Prospect. There are a lot of cars, trams and trolleybuses. The pride of St. Petersburg us its underground which is very deep and lays under the river. St. Petersburg is situated on the Neva river.The river flows through the heart of the city. That is why there are a lot of bridges in St. Petersburg. Saint Petersburg was founded in 1703 by Peter the Great. My city was the capital of Rissia during many years. There are a lot of places of interest in St. Petersburg. There are many beautiful palaces. My family and I oftem go for a walk in the center of the city. It is beautifuland great.
